• Wearable & Performance Data: Activity metrics and workout summaries (such as distance, time, activity type, and milestone data) ingested via authorized integrations like Open Wearables or directly from your connected fitness accounts (e.g., Garmin, Apple Health).
• Technical & Usage Data: Basic device information, IP addresses, browser types, and interaction logs for platform security and performance optimization.

We use your information strictly for the operation of our platform:

• To calculate your MintMiles balances and verify reward eligibility.
• To issue secure sponsor redemption links.
• To communicate platform updates, early-access notifications, and support responses.
• To maintain platform security, detect fraud, and ensure technical reliability.

• No Sale of Data: We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or health data. We do not share your fitness or health data with third-party advertisers, data brokers, or external AI platforms.
• Sponsor Interaction:When you redeem a perk, we provide you with a unique tracking link to the sponsor's website so they can honor the offer. Your actual health and wearable metrics are never shared with sponsors.
• Service Providers: We may use trusted infrastructure providers (such as Supabase for database management and Open Wearables for data ingestion) who are contractually bound to protect your data.

• All data transmitted between your device, third-party APIs, and our servers is secured using modern encryption standards (such as TLS/HTTPS).
• Data stored on our servers is protected with strict access controls and encrypted at rest.

You maintain full control over your data:

• Disconnecting Wearables: You may disconnect your wearable devices at any time through your account settings or directly via your wearable manufacturer account controls.
• Data Deletion Requests: You can request complete deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by contacting us at davis@mintmiles.io.

MintMiles is not intended for individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
